Make sure that you accept the chat invite from the bot or vice-versa. That is the one thing that I can’t automate.

Hello Kevin — spent all day desperately trying to make one of these gtalk bots work (gtalkbot,gtalkconf.. some more) then as i was giving up i found this project — after install the service starts properly, however it doesn’t seem that the bot ever comes on line as it appears from my buddy list… not sure what could be wrong, or how to debug..
